We have had a wonderful Christmas here in Kentucky with friends and family. Maggie has loved being back on the farm with the dogs and the horses. Her Memaw got a new puppy for Christmas. A white German Shepard named "Bella" and I Maggie seems to think it is hers. It has taken her mind of Gus-Gus but I have to remind her it is not coming home. This one will not be small for long it's paws are huge! Duke and Ebony don't know what to think of her! There is also another addition to the farm. A cute baby Walking Horse. She is nameless but Maggie has decided to call her "Sugar Plum".
We have had a wonderful visit with Mimi and Mama Jean. Mimi was out for Christmas Eve and we loved getting the chance to visit. Mam Jean stayed the night for Santa's visit and we all enjoyed opening gifts. We were all spoiled and received clothes, toys, books and everything you can think. My favorite was a signed copy of Going Rogue! I plan to spend the next few days with my nose in the book. Thomas got all kinds of great sports paraphernalia and even tickets to the upcoming UK game. Maggie got everything her heart wanted a talking robot Parrot and her own singing machine! She is practicing to be the next Hannah Montana. We are all happy to be celebrating the holidays with loved ones and miss all the families we couldn't be with today. Merry Christmas!
