We have had a wonderful year here in Maple Valley. We hope that you all have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year!

This year the Watkins' Family enjoyed some traveling ... We went to Newport California to surf, sun and relax. Thomas came for the weekend and we, Maggie and me, stayed for the week. The Allens flew over from Texas and we had a blast. Grammy was worried each and every day about how far Maggie would swim out. Yes she was always wearing her life jacket, but loved to go past the waves breakaing point. She would convince anyone willing to listen to take her out. She loved the Boogie Board with her Dad and the beach.

Maggie also got to enjoy her first California Earthquake! That was a fun experience for me. I never quiet got used to the quakes but Maggie barely seemed to notice. The Watkins family in Kentucky and Dad were very nervous. While it happened it seemed that no one even noticed. But the media sure enjoyed showing the worst spots to our family. Thomas is not thrilled about us going back. But we convinced him to try again.

This April we are going to Disneyland!!! He has to enjoy that!

Along with our travels, Maggie and I joined Tracy, Jayme, Bryan, Andrea (Allen) and Grammy on a great trip to Forks Washington to look for Vampires. Yes, you heard it, we are big Twilight fans thanks to Jayme and her love for reading. We stayed in a great little cabin and spent the day traveling through the Hoh rain Forest. We loved it.
